It has been confirmed by Treyarch that there will be brand new Zombies map, ‘Firebase Z’ will be available for free across all platforms on February 4th.
It seems that a major update is coming to Zombies mode, this is due to take place in February. Zombies first map ‘Die Maschine’ has proved to be popular amongst fans, with players being able to gather an impressive amount of rounds and collect Easter Eggs. However the introduction of a new map is an exciting premise as it means new story elements for players to start and work through.
Fans should expect a host of brand new content to play through and of course new ways to grind their way to unlocking the Dark Aether camo and the Plague Diamond camo.
We will have more information on ‘Firebase Z’ on January 15th, but until then Treyarch have already given us an idea of what may be in store with this new map. The games developers have already outlined how the new map will tie into the continuing storyline in the Zombies series in a new blog post on their website.
“With the destruction of the WWII-era “Projekt Endstation” site after investigating the otherworldly Dark Aether anomaly in Poland, Requiem now sets its focus on the latest Dark Aether outbreak site: Outpost 25, known by the code name ‘Firebase Z.’”
However, we can’t be sure exactly what to expect as of yet, fans will ust have to hang on until more details are released, when we know more we will keep you updated so make sure to check back with us at Gamerficial.
