So at least one, sometimes 2 each season, every season. 👍

They also stated “So at least one, sometimes 2 each season, every season.”

This mean that if Treayarch releases these map remakes in accordance with this timeline, it would take us from Season 2 right through to Season 5.

Although, there is not further confirmation on actually which maps are in development, it is likely the games developers will focus on some of the old iconic maps such as Breach, Standoff and Hanoi.

This isn’t the first time classic Call of Duty maps have been brought back into the game, in the past we’ve seen the return of old favourites such as Slums, Summit, Nuketown, Firing Range and Jungle. These maps have all been brought back multiple times, we have also seen other maps that have been brought back just the one time also.

Maps we’ve seen made only one return include, Contraband, Seaside, Outskirts, Grind, Cliffside, Courtyard, Hacienda, Arsenal and Hiacked. Could this mean that some of these maps are in the running to be remade?

Of course, we can’t know for sure what exactly what is in store, fans will just have to hang on and wait for official words from Treyarch.
