Black Ops Cold War Beta Multiplayer Destroyed Already by Cheaters

Alex KirtonBy Alex KirtonOctober 19, 2020

CoD is no stranger to cheaters in the game so it comes as no surprise that players have hijacked the Beta already causing major frustration to other gamers.

There has been a rise in issues in Call of Duty with players using cheats and exploits to get ahead in the game, these numbers have sharply been on the rise over the last year.

Acitivison have done their best to try and combat cheaters but it hasn’t stopped them, Activision have filed many lawsuits to try and stop cheater websites selling exploits to players, they have also released many statements adressing these issues.

The major concern at the moment for players is that there are cheaters already, and this is only the Beta!

October 17 was the day the Beta became available to all gamers, as the previous weekends were exclusivley for players who had placed a pre-order for the digital game and PS4 players.

Gamers using all platforms are now able to access the Beta which has unfortunatley led to some issues.

Reddit user madzuk has recently taken to the platform to share imagery from a Cartel match he took part in, the footage depicts his enemy who is clearly aimbotting.

The MOST blatant and ridiculous aim hack I’ve EVER seen in a video game 😂 from r/blackopscoldwar

This player cheating in this way managed to rack up a giant 94 kills throughout by locking on to his opponents. This confirms many players worst fears as people are alrady hacking the game.

Gamers have already taken to social media to express their frustation to Activision, querying how they have allowed cheating to take place already in the game. Hopefully they come up with a way to combat this soon so we don’t see too many other posts like this.
