According to a recent leak, Battlefield 2042 players will be able to get their hands on a host of free content after its launch.
We may have some insight on what we can expect from Battlefield 2042’s season pass thanks to a recent leak.
Well known leaker Tom Henderson has taken to Twitter claiming to know what will be included in Battlefield 2042’s seasonal content.
Not only this, but Henderson also claims that all of this extra content will be free to players.
Henderson states that each season that comes to Battlefield 2042 will include a new playable specialist, two new maps, two new Portal maps, a story driven update and heaps of new vehicles and weapons.
The post read:
“Each #BATTLEFIELD2042 Season; –
- 1 Specialist
- 2 New Maps
- 2 Portal Maps
- Hazard Zone Update (Story-driven)
- 6-8 New Weapons (for each mode)
- 2-3 New Vehicles (for each mode)
- 100 Season Tiers”
Henderson followed up with another Tweet containing a gif suggesting that all of this seasonal content will be completely free.
This is exciting news if it proves to be correct given just how much content is set to be included.
This amount of content coming to the title will greatly help the lifespan of the title after it launches.
Players are already looking forward to the newly announced Battlefield Portal mode in which they can create their own games using a host of maps, weapons vehicles and more from previous titles in the franchise.
Of course, we must take this information with a pinch of salt as nothing has yet been officially confirmed.
