Battlefield 2042 May Be Coming To Game Pass

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiMay 6, 2022

Things are looking huge for Game Pass this year if all we’ve heard proves to correct, following Xbox’s recent acquisition of Activision Blizzard it seems that there are some huge titles coming to the service this year.

Not only is there plans for some huge titles to arrive, but also many that will be available from day one, this will boost Game Pass significantly and with a lot more in store from Ubisoft, its not hard to see why the service is so popular.

Now, rumours are suggesting that another huge title could be arriving on Game Pass, Battlefield 2042’s listing on the Xbox store has been recently updated to show that the game will be available to those players who subscribe to Game Pass.

This could mean that the game is on the way to the service, we have seen a similar situation with FIFA 22 also, the listing for the game has also changed and recently was revealed that it will be one of this month’s PlayStation Plus Games.

This decision however could be made with the hopes of racking player numbers back up, the game saw a speedy decline in its player base recently although who knows if a strong player base will remain after it becomes free to subscribers.

Game Pass subscribers will often try out a bunch of different games to get a feel for what they like, so unfortunately if players aren’t feeling it, it’s likely they will just move on to another game with so many other titles on offer from the service.
