The co-operative horror shooter game was originally planned to launch in June of this year, however Turtle Rock Studios felt that it would be better to push the launch of the game back until later this year.

Back 4 Blood, the unofficial sequel to the fan favourite title Left 4 Dead will now be released on October 12th 2021, the decision was made to give the developers enough time to make the game as good as it can possible be.

The official Back 4 Blood Twitter account took to the platform to announce the panned delay to fans, the Tweet showed an imaged that read:

“Turtle Rock Studios is working hard to make Back 4 Blood the best game it can possibly be at launch and the team needs more time to do this. We will release Back 4 Blood on October 12, 2021. We thank out community for its continued support and are excited to share that will be an open beta this summer.”
