It’s obvious that Back 4 Blood will be the sequel to the fan favourite title Left 4 Dead, there are bound to be a host of similarities between the titles.

The games developers revealed at a recent presentation that the classic 4v4 PvP mode will be making a return in Back 4 Blood, any fan of Left 4 Dead will be familiar with the mode as it is incredibly similar to the Versus mode that was featured in the title.
While playing in the Left 4 Dead Versus mode, players would be split into teams before taking it in turns to play as the Infected or the Survivors. The goal of the Infected was to take out the Survivors team as fast as they could, however the Survivors gathered points the longer they remained alive.

So, Back 4 Blood’s Swarm mode is incredibly similar to the former mode with its two teams of either the Cleaners or the Ridden once again battling out to see who can last the longest.
Players are in store for a host of terrifying Ridden characters from the Retch who vomits acid to the Exploder who spontaneously combusts.
Back 4 Blood is also set to include a full length co-op campaign mode as well as the 4v4 PvP mode.

There is an open beta that is set to take place in August while the full version of the game is set to release on October 12th.
The title will also be arriving on Xbox Game Pass from launch day too!
