Fans of Assassin’s Creed want to see a new title launch that is set in ancient Rome.
Assassin’s Creed fans are always quick to look ahead to the future, thinking of where they would like he franchise to take them next. The series has already transported players around the globe visiting a host of famous landmarks and countries.
Currently, there has been no official announcements on where the next AC title will take us, however fans have been quick to jump on social media to discuss possible locations.

Conversations on Reddit quickly turned to ancient Rome once they had discovered that the game has never actually taken place there, after all it seems like such an obvious choice.
Looking back over all of the previous AC titles, it does seem strange that a game has never used ancient Rome as a setting. Although we have seen countless adventures taking place in Rome or within the same timeframe as the Roman Empire, there has yet to be a title which takes place at the peak of the Roman Empire.

With so much history and rich culture packed into ancient Rome it has disappointed fans that they haven’t yet had the chance to explore it through the world of AC.
Could it be that we see this as a location in the future?
As Assassin’s Creed continues to grow from strength to strength and clearly has no intentions of slowing down soon, it could well be that we may see this come into fruition at some point in the future.
