Apex Legends Players Start Petition To Skip Season 11

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiAugust 14, 2021

Apex Legends players have been calling for Respawn Entertainment to delay Season 10 and 11 and instead opt for a ‘health’ update.

Apex Legends has seen a huge influx in players, with many coming from Warzone due to the ongoing hacking pandemic. However, a number of players have reported that Apex Legends has it’s own problems to fix including server and audio issues amongst many others.

This has prompted players to call out to developers Respawn Entertainment in hopes they will delay next Season content and instead work on fixing the games bugs and issues.

Twitter user ‘Kherzii’ took to the platform offering to make a petition to delay Season 11.

The post read “Petition to make Season 11 Apex primary focused on bug fixing/meta tweaking/character/weapon balancing rather than new content Then season 12 go crazy with all the new content you want”.

The post was soon met with an influx of comments and retweets from other users in agreement with the proposal. The idea is similar to what we have seen take place in Rainbow Six Siege with their ‘Operation Health’ update.

This update delayed all new content that was planned for three months while Ubisoft took that break to work on correcting issues players were having in the game.

This worked in favour for Rainbow Six Siege as many adverse effects in the game have been corrected.

Of course, one could argue that new content is what helps keep the game fresh and mixes things up, but you can’t deny that working on bugs and glitches will make the game an all round better experience.

Fans will just have to remain hopeful that the developers take on players feedback and work on ironing out these issues, whether it means delaying the next legend or not.
