Apex Legends Fans Want The Same Battle Pass System As Halo Infinite

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiJune 17, 2021

Halo Infinite has a unique Battle Pass system which has proved to be a hit with players and now it seems that Apex Legends fans are crying out for a similar system.

The majority of free to play games have a Battle Pass system so it’s nothing new to the world of gaming, however most Battle Passes grant players a specific window of time in which they can unlock different achievements and cosmetics.

However, this is not the case with Halo Infinite as their Battle Pass system has shaken things up entirely as the players are able to make a selection on which Pass they want to progress towards along with the fact that the Battle Pass will never expire.

This system has received a host of positive feedback from players as it saves time for those who don’t want to grind their way through each Pass and want to progress quicker.

Now, it seems that many Apex Legends fans are begging Respawn Entertainment to make some changes to reflect the same type of system in the future.

Currently, if a player misses out on earning a specific cosmetic there is no way for them to go back and unlock cosmetics from previous Battle Passes, so if you don’t manage to get your hands on them first time around chances are you won’t get another opportunity.

For those Halo Infinite players, missing out will never be an issue as their Battle Pass is always valid which gives them the chance to earn limited edition cosmetics and level up at their own pace.

Reddit user ‘Raxus001’ took to the platform to share their thoughts on the system.

The post read “Anyone else hear what Halo: Infinite is doing with their Battle Pass system?? Battle Passes never expire and if you missed any of them, you can buy it later and progress through it if you want at any time. It’s beneficial for players and the studio/publishers.”

Hey RESPAWN, do what Halo: Infinite is doing…PLEASE! from apexlegends

“Dear Respawn,

It would be a brilliant idea to have a menu tab in the lobby that allows us to look back on all the battle passes in Apex and purchase any that we missed so that we can have the chance to get the goodies that newer players (or players that took a break) have missed out on. I hope you’ll please consider this. Furthermore, it’s also a good business strategy and will bring in more profit anyway.

Sincerely,

Someone who wants the Season 4 Flatline skins and didn’t start playing ’til season 5. :)”

There is no way to tell if any changes will be made in future, fans will just have to hold on and keep their fingers crossed.
