One of the strongest and most used Legends in Apex Legends has a major bug which is being exploited by players.
Each Apex Legends update sees the meta shift quite drastically, with the developers keeping an eye on Legend pick rate and making tweaks to buff Legends who get picked less. However, one Legend has remained strong throughout every update.

Wraith has been in the top three most played Legends since the release of the game back in 2019, this is likely down to her life-saving tactical ability, small hitbox, and a very strong ultimate that can change the outcome of even the most one sided fights. Even in season 9 she is still sitting strong at the second most picked with a huge 13% of the pick rate, only beaten by Octane with 15%.

While Wraith is still staying strong in the current meta, it seems like she’s getting an unintended boost to her abilities as one player found out when they discovered a game-breaking bug.
Her ability allows her to vanish into a new dimension, dropping in and out of combat allowing players who use her to reset the fight, reposition, and avoid an untimely death at the push of a button. ‘Into The void’ has been tweaked a few times over the past few years, but it still remains one of the strongest of any Legend in the game.
All Legends abilities have a cooldown after use, with Wraiths ‘Into The Void’ ability making players wait 25 seconds before they can use it again. Although it seems like a very short amount of time, it can seem like an eternity during combat. One player has found a way to completely remove the cooldown after using the ability.
EztheHuman showcased the exploit they had found in a video posted to the Apex Legends Subreddit, it showed that the cooldown could be avoided by a wall bounce timed correctly during the ability. Performing the wall bounce just as the ability ends is what resets the cooldown.
While this bug will surely cause frustration to players who come up against anyone exploiting it, it’s worth noting that it does seem rather tricky to pull off. Hopefully Respawn are already aware of the bug and issue a fix before it causes too much trouble.
