Annimal Crossing: Complete list of Christmas DIY recipes Revealed


Another holiday is approaching which means a host of new features will be arriving in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

It was already teased in the last Animal Crossing trailer for the fall udpate, that another update would be gracing our games in late November. The imagery in the trailer showed Franklin the turkey chef who has made an appearance at Thanksgiving in previous games. It also featured Jingle the Reindeer who usually comes to visit on Toy Day.

But as usual with another season approaching it comes a host of new DIY recipes and materials to collect to assist in those recipes, so you decorate your island and home in full festive spirit.

The best part about this holiday event, is that it doesn’t matter which hemisphere you are living in, as many other events have opposite dates where they appear in each hemisphere in accordance with the seasons.

So from December 15 and until January 6, Christmas will arrive at your island! The most exciting part is that during this time period the trees on your island will be adorned with Christmas ornaments. If you shake the tree the ornaments will drop out and allow you to collect them, they can later be used in various DIY recipes.

The ornaments vary as they come in a selection of colours, you are able to find Blue, Red and Yellow ornaments to help you craft various different furniture and decor items.

DIY recipes can be collected by gathering bottles found on your beach, shooting down balloons with your slignshot and also being gifted to you by chatting to your villagers.

These recipes will be exclusive to this time and will not be available at any other time through the year, so make sur eyou collect them all while you have the chance, although if your a time traveler you might not need to worry too much.
