Could it be that the upcoming Easter event will bring with it some new characters? Fans have been crying out for the return of one fan favourite character since the games release.

Fans are hoping for the return of the much loved pigeon Brewster, who owned the coffee shop in the island ‘The Roost’. There has been some speculation that he could be coming back to the game in the next update, although we can’t say for certain this will be the case.

There has been a few in-game hints towards Brewster’s return, so take a look and decide for yourself.

The major clue that has really got fans thinking was when a Twitter user took to the platform to show footage where she engaged in a conversation with one of her villagers and they actually mentioned Brewster.

Although this mention in the game took place last April, fans thought that this could mean we would see the return of the Roost around Easter time, however with still no sign of Brewster could this mean that this Easter we could expect his return?

The Roost coffee shop has previously been featured in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Animal Crossing: City Folk and Animal Crossing: Wild World. You could purchase at the coffee shop a cup for 200 bells.

Of course this is all just speculation at the moment, however could this be following the same path of the return of Redd and the art gallery addition to the museum?

Redd and the gallery were also featured in previous games and made a return. A player also reported a villager having a conversation with them about the art gallery and then it followed in the update.
