Animal Crossing: Content and Updates Arriving in 2021

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiJanuary 8, 2021

After the arrival of the Winter update and experiencing both the Christmas and New Years events, players are eager to see what content updates are in store for us in 2021.

So we are in the first week of the new year, and with a new month comes lots of seasonal changes and updates. With every month comes a host of new bugs, fish and sea creatures making their entrance and also departures, you can find the full list here.

Last year we heard the announcement from Nintendo that the fan favourite game will continue to receive updates over the next 3 years, to keep the game fresh and exciting. It was also highlighted in the last update trailer that we would also receive an update in January, the perfect way to kick off the new year with some brand new content.

The trailer revealed that we would be in store for a further update dropping some time in late January which means we shoud start to see this added to the game in the upcoming weeks. The imagery also showed the character Pave the peacock.

Pave has been featured in previous versions of the game, which leads us to believe that he will take on a role similar to what we have seen in the past. In earlier games he has brought the Festivale event the island, for those players who have not played the Festivale event before, it is a huge carnival celebation.

During the event players would usually search their island to collect brightly coloured feathers which they would then take to Pave and in return he would then demosntrate some impressive dance moves before then rewarding players with limited edition furniture and decor items.

Athough we don’t know for sure exactly what this event will look like this year, previous experiences can give us a could indication of what we could likely be in store for.
