Call of Duty: Vanguard players will be able to explore ranked play options in 2022 as Activision have made promised to add a new level of support to the title for competitive play.
Treyarch Studios recently took to Twitter to announce that they will be working together with Sledgehammer Games in order to take competitive features in the game to the next level.
This will include a number of visible skill ratings, a number of competitive modes along with a host of “new competitive rewards”.
The post read “We’re collaborating with our partners to bring competitive modes, Ranked Skill Divisions, visible Skill Ratings, and new competitive rewards to #Vanguard Ranked Play in 2022. More details to come!”
It also included a shared post from the official Call of Duty account which read “@SHGames and @Treyarch look forward to bringing a new level of Ranked Play support to #Vanguard in 2022 in collaboration with @CODLeague More details will be shared at a later date.”
Although there are currently no further details on how the new mode will be integrated into Vanguard, although Activision stated “Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch look forward to bringing a new level of Ranked Play support to Vanguard in 2022 in collaboration with the Call of Duty League. More details will be shared at a later date”.
