Activision has revealed that this years upcoming Modern Warfare 2 will be the “most advanced experience in franchise history.”
In the first-quarter financial results from Activision Blizzard, it was revealed that the unannounced Modern Warfare 2 is expected to launch later this year.
The financial results also revealed that this title will be the “most successful Call of Duty title to date” along with being “the most advanced experience in franchise history”.
This information has instilled very high hopes in the Call of Duty community considering the title has not yet even been officially announced as of yet, this isn’t even the first time that this kind of information has even been shared about an unannounced title.
The team confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone 2 was actually in development earlier this year in February and would be built using a brand new game engine.
It is worth noting that Warzone 2 was also mentioned in the financial results along with Modern Warfare 2, it is expected that Warzone 2 will be revealed later this year.
