The addition of Rebirth Island to the game gave players a fresh feel and change of pace, now it seems that Warzone 2 could be receiving something very similar.
The map was first debuted in the game in 2020 as part of Season 1 for Black Ops Cold War, and since proved to be pretty popular with fans, so there is no doubt that the news of a second map for Warzone 2 will come as good news to players.
Well known leaker Tom Henderson revealed that a second map for Warzone 2 “is well into development”.

Henderson referenced a source that said “the map was visible in the menu of the game, but the curator had stated that this map is currently in early development and was not available to play for that session”.
Henderson also believes that we could see the second map release in the second year of Modern Warfare 2, based on what we have seen previously from Rebirth Island.

It is still unclear however if Warzone 2 will launch at the same time as Modern Warfare 2, after all we saw Warzone drop five whole months after Modern Warfare so it could be that fans have to wait a little longer.
Of course, we must take this information with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made.
