Warner Bros. Games is looking to cast a fresh spell on the gaming world. Following the runaway success of Hogwarts Legacy, the publisher is readying to delve further into the Harry Potter universe, confirming the development of a new offering in the form of a collectible card game RPG, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened.
The Magic Awakened game promises an immersive and interactive Harry Potter experience. Players will take on the role of a young witch or wizard starting at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Equipped with a wide array of customization options, players will be able to shape their characters as they see fit. Adding to the excitement, the game incorporates the development of new magical skills which can be cast as battle cards during both offline and online multiplayer duels.

First released in China in September 2021, Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is now preparing for a broader audience. With a Western launch date slated for this summer, the game will be accessible on multiple platforms, including PC, Android, and iOS. As an added incentive, users who pre-register for the game will receive bonus downloadable content (DLC).
Yet, Magic Awakened is not the only broom in the cupboard. Awaiting its turn to take flight is another Harry Potter game, Quidditch Champions. Although the release date is yet to be announced, leaked gameplay footage has already sparked excitement and curiosity among fans, suggesting the Quidditch-based game is more than worth the wait.

Meanwhile, Hogwarts Legacy, the action RPG developed by Avalanche Software, continues to bewitch the gaming community. In a remarkable feat, the game outsold Elden Ring’s lifetime sales within just five weeks of its release, even generating more revenue than most Harry Potter films.
However, not all the news is positive. Hogwarts Legacy players who prefer the Nintendo Switch platform will have to hold their breath a bit longer. The release has been delayed once again, this time by four months. Thankfully, players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox can already dive into the magical world as Hogwarts Legacy is currently available on these platforms. Despite the delay, the Harry Potter gaming universe continues to expand and enchant, promising exciting times ahead for fans.
