Destiny 2 developer Bungie has teased the potential of a new free to play IP in a job listing on their website.
Destiny 2 remains a popular title in the gaming community, with three more expansions confirmed to be on the way and plan for further development until 2024 and after, we are sure it will continue to be a hit with gamers.
Now it seems that Bungie may be taking things to the next level as they have confirmed that they will be releasing a brand new IP sometime before 2025.

They have remained tight lipped on the details up to now, but there has been a few pieces of information gathered from recent job listings that have popped up on their website.
It has already been teased that the new IP could be created on a live service model and could potentially be a free to play title.

TheGamePost spotted a job listing for ‘Senior Marketing Manager’ which has hinted at what could potentially be in store for the future of this brand new title.
The posting calls for a candidate to “drive awareness, sales, and growth for the next Bungie IP” and also “experience with live operations, games as a service, MMO, F2P, and mobile.

It looks as if Bungie are taking inspiration from other live service titles such as Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends to name a few, inspiration from player engagement to monetisation may be included in the upcoming IP.
More and more titles are going down the free-to-play route such as the like of this yeas upcoming Halo Infinite title and its likely that we will see more popping up in future.
Of course nothing has been confirmed officially Bungie as of yet which makes sense as the release is planned to take place in a few years.
