Rockstar Games fans have been on the edge of their seats since the surprise leak of preliminary footage from the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 back in September. The breach revealed tantalising information about the game’s protagonists and location, sparking excitement and speculation among the gaming community.

Though the leaked footage came from an unfinished version of the game, it provided a treasure trove of details for eager fans. Dexerto reports that enthusiasts are still unearthing new information, with one insider recently uncovering several in-game actions. These discoveries include familiar features from Red Dead Redemption 2, promising a thrilling gaming experience.

While classic actions like melee attacks and crouching return from previous GTA titles, Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to introduce innovative features as well. “Buddy comms” and “buddy ping,” for example, are intriguing new options that may relate to the game’s multiple protagonists, according to Dexerto’s speculation.

Another exciting feature, “melee grapple,” is making its debut in the GTA series. Red Dead Redemption 2 players will instantly recognise this engaging action. Additionally, the cinematic mode traveling option, which allows players to appreciate the game’s stunning visuals while their character journeys to a destination, is also making an appearance. Insiders have found references to “cinematic mode” within GTA 6 files, suggesting that this fan-favorite feature is in development.

Despite the prolonged wait for the game’s release, Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick offers reassurance that the delay will be worthwhile. During a recent investor call, Zelnick acknowledged past title delays but emphasized that they ultimately proved to be inconsequential when compared to the high-quality end products that were delivered.

With a blend of classic gameplay elements and fresh, innovative features, Grand Theft Auto 6 is shaping up to be a hit among gamers. As new information continues to surface, fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming title, confident that Rockstar Games will once again deliver an unforgettable experience.
