Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 fans have only just noticed a small detail on one of the operators referencing Harry Potter.
Modern Warfare 2 first released back in October 2022, shortly followed by the free-to-play Warzone 2.0. A brand new Warzone experience that was meant to build on the first game while fixing all of the issues fans had experienced over the years.
Even though we’re almost three months post release, fans are still finding interesting details in the game. One observant Redditor noticed that the operator Nova, has a Deathly Hallows tattoo on the inside of her left arm.
Nila Brown, otherwise known as Nova, is one of the SpecGru operators in Modern Warfare 2, one user in the comments of the Reddit post was quick to point out that the operator was created by scanning real life actor Jasmine Colgan, stage name Abena.
“Probably was her model’s tattoo and they never removed it after the scan. If cod uses those that is”, another replied “And you’re right” including a link to an Instagram post she made showing her tattoos.
The Deathly Hallows symbol has become a very popular tattoo amongst fans of the Harry Potter series.
It’s likely the developers didn’t realise the tattoo was visible on the operator after scanning Abena, but maybe they did deliberately leave it in.
