Fans of Midnight Club: Los Angeles will be pleased to know that a remaster could potentially be in the works over at Rockstar Games.
The series has remained dormant since the ongoing success of GTA V, the last instalment was released back in 2008 for PS3 and Xbox 360, however it could be that the team are gearing up for the series’ return.
Instagram user Markus Kienzl took to the platform last year with a post detailing that Rockstar Game had featured one of his tracks on a trailer for the Midnight Club: Los Angeles remaster.
However, this information didn’t seem to reach many people and only recently has the topic resurfaced although there has been no confirmation as of yet that this remaster is actually in development.
Previous rumours have also claimed that GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption remasters were also in the works, however these projects were allegedly cancelled so the team could focus on GTA 6.
Could it be that the rumoured Midnight Club: Los Angeles remaster was alsp cancelled due to this reason?
Although if Rockstar Games have licensed a song for a trailer, surely that must indicate that the development process was further along than we thought,
Either way, it looks like fans will have to wait this one out and see if this project will ever come into fruition.
