A huge leak has recently revealed a host of screenshots and gameplay footage from an alpha build of the long awaited GTA 6.
The images and footage that has been leaked looks as if it from a very early build of GTA 6, from what we can see in the clip it looks like Vice City as a tram passes by with ‘Vice City” printed prominently on the side.
Twitter user ‘WaterHexle’ took to the platform to share the footage, the post read “Gta 6 leaked lmao”.
The footage give fans some insight into multiple elements of the game such as how players will be able to interact with NPCs, however there is not a great deal that can be taken from these video.
From these videos there is also reason to believe that GTA 6 is being developed as a cross-gen game as a lot of the footage looks like it has been taken from different hardware sources such as PCs and console.
The hacker also managed to leak around 10,000 lines of code which has revealed a number of actions that players’ characters will be able to carry out such as equipping a jetpack.
A screenshot showing a map was also leaked, this image shows a zoomed in image of the map as seen below.
There is still no official release date for GTA 6 as of yet, previous leaks have claimed that we may not see the title until 2024, at the latest 2025.
