GTA Online alone currently draws in over 2.7 million players each month and has accumulated an impressive $1 billion, although the game is a roaring success is does lack those offline elements.
This results in some players not being able to experience the game, however it looks as if GTA 6 could put an end to this issue.
In a new leak from Tez2, it was revealed that GTA 6 will evolve “over time” ad take players “back to how [Rockstar was] planning future content before GTA Online success boomed”.
It was also mentioned that the upcoming title will feature a host of new cities and missions while expanding on the single player side of the game, there will also be the possibility of “fully-fledged’ cities being added to the game in the future.
Tez2 also claimed that Rockstar Games have plans in the works to release a DLC before the game officially launches, if this proves to be correct this will suit both types of players, who play online and those who prefer offline play.
This makes sense, given the games success so far the next step would naturally be to try and take the series to the next level.
Of course, we must take this information with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made, but in the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
