It looks like Modern Warfare 2 is set to shake things up as major changes will see new and improved AI bots.
The game was finally revealed on June 8, fans are looking forward to see a glimpse into gameplay at Summer Game Fest however some details about an open beta early access have been confirmed.
Players will have the chance to get a slice of the action from the upcoming title, the sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare.
Animation Director at Infinity Ward, Mark Grigsby has recently spoken out on some of the brand new changes that will be making their way to the game.

As part of a recent early access event, Charlie Intel was able to get some insight into the upcoming title through some gameplay footage, Grigsby confirmed that the came will include “lethal” Artificial Intelligence like we have never seen before.
Grigbsy said that NPCs will “provide an interesting and engaging experience” for players, it was also confirmed that this AI technology will feature in all game modes.
Grigbsy also said “We noticed that AI would walk through hostile areas and not checking their corners…” in comparison to the 2019 title.
“Looking around different parts and feel more natural, like human people who are nervous about their lives”.
It was also teased that these bots may have the ability to “protect areas that have cool things”, it was also noted that AI could feature in large scale maps to meaning there could be around 300 AI along with 100 live players.

It looks like fans will have to wait this one out to see when the game releases at the end of October.
