Trailers for the upcoming GTA 6 title have taken over YouTube in the form of adverts, however fans have started questioning the legitimacy of these videos. Rockstar Games have been remaining tight lipped regarding the long awaited GTA 6, however they recently confirmed that the title was in the early stages of development although there were no further details revealed.
With no further details up for grabs, fans have no choice but to turn to rumours and speculation for ideas of what they can expect when the title finally releases.
A number of these rumours have suggested that the game with be returning to Vice City with a storyline that will follow the cartel although the devs are yet to confirm whether these rumours are true or not.

Industry insiders have claimed that Rockstar Games are planning to drop a number of teasers and screenshots before the end of this year, however some eagle eyes fans have noticed that some trailers have surfaced on YouTube.
Although to any GTA veteran, its fairly obviously that these trailers are not legitimate, Reddit user ‘LegalWallhacks’ took to the platform to raise the question with other users if they have noticed these strange ads.
The post read “anyone else been getting fake gta 6 ads on youtube? idk who they’re trying to fool, there’s no way anyone would fall for this”.
A number of these trailers are using clips from other games such as Need for Speed: Heat and Saints Row amongst many others.
The videos all seem to feature a GTA 6 watermark along with a May 2022 release date which seems very unlikely as nothing has actually been officially confirmed by the devs themselves.
