The news comes from a Warzone cheater who has confirmed in a Tik Tok video that he is no longer able to create new Warzone accounts with his current hardware.
While the cheating issue in Warzone has been spiralling out of control for the past few months, it seems Activision and Raven have eventually decided that enough is enough.
Many top players and streamers have already ditched the game due to the ongoing cheating pandemic, favouring other titles such as Apex Legends instead.
Players have been crying out to Raven Software to take action and stop the cheating once and for all, despite issuing several bans it seems that cheaters were able to make another account and return back into the game almost immediately.
Now, it seems that the developers have listened and players prayers have been answered as once an account has been banned, the cheaters will no longer be able to make another account.
Raven have been working on a new way to ban cheaters and recent information had suggested that once hackers were banned they could no longer return to the game with a new account, it seems that this plan has now been put into action.
A TikTok recently went viral after a hacker showed off their banned account and said “I’ve been hacking for a little bit”.https://www.tiktok.com/embed.js
The video shows rushman explaining how he has been banned and can no longer make a new account to re-join the game.
He follows up by praising Activision for taking these steps saying they now have it “on point”.
Hopefully this is a step in the right direction in a bid to clear the game of cheaters once and for all, however as we approach closer to the launch of Vanguard it has been confirmed that an official anti-cheat system will be put in place.
