It seems that Grand Theft Auto fans could be in for a bit of a wait when it comes to the much anticipated GTA 6 title.
Fans have been waiting quite some time for information to surface regarding the release of the long awaited GTA 6 title.
Up to now, Rockstar Games have remained tightlipped when it comes to GTA 6 leaving fans with little to no information on the upcoming title, giving them no choice but to rely on leaks and speculation for their fix.
It has been a long eight years since we saw the release of GTA V and since then the title has remained incredibly popular with fans.

A recent update from “GTA6only” let fans into the harsh truth that we probably won’t be seeing a GTA 6 release before the end of 2022.
The post read “This is for the fiscal year 2022. So GTA 6 is not happening in 2021/2022”.
Take-Two is one of the biggest publishers currently out there and given that we are currently in the fiscal year for 2022, no indiction of this in the first quarter is a good indication that we wont be seeing GTA 6 before the end of 2022.

There are still four games that are due to arrive before the end of the fiscal year such as WWE 2K22, NBA 2K22 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
There is also a fourth game that has remained a mystery so far, however Take-Two have previously said that there will be a total of 19 core releases although there has been no mention of GTA 6.
Although this news is disappointing as it means it will be at least another year until we get a chance to sink our teeth into the game.
And with no solid date for release to go from who knows exactly when we will see this release.

Well known leaker Tom Henderson had previously claimed that we won’t see GTA 6 until at least 2025, so it could be quite some time before we see a release.
