Playground Games have revealed that Forza Horizon 5 will have 11 distinct biomes for players to experience.
A recent update has given Forza fans some insight into the 11 new biomes that will be available in the game from launch.
The developers have aimed to make these different biomes as diverse as possible, this is why they had chosen Mexico as the main setting for the title as it opens a door to many different environments.
Creative director, Mike Brown said “Mexico is almost like the whole world in one country”, this is due to its many varied regions.
Fans will be able to explore a host of different environments throughout the game, such as murky jungles to tropical coast locations.
One of the most impressive features will be the volcano that players are able to drive themselves too, they can make their way to the very top in order to look over the breath taking views.
Here is the complete list of biomes.
- Tropical Coast
- Rocky Coast
- Arid Hills
- Sand Desert
- Living Desert

If this wasn’t enough, the title will also feature different seasons that will change and interact with each biomes.
Each area will be affected differently by seasonal weather changes, for example during winter, the Arid Hills biome lake will completely dry up. This will give players a new path to use for racing, one that was not available in previous months.
This means that players will be able to return back to locations they have already explored and be able to fine something new.
This will definitely help keep the game fresh and exciting for gamers, no matter how many times they play.
