Three new maps were added to the title however two of the three were swiftly removed without explanation, now it seems that Infinity Ward have finally restored the missing maps.

As with every Call of Duty title, it seems that after a new title is released the older games tend to fade out although that hasn’t seemed to be the case with Modern Warfare as the title still remains strong as players just aren’t ready to say goodbye yet.
Fans had been begging Infinity Ward for some new content for the title, and they finally delivered giving fans three brand new maps back in March.

The update consisting of the new maps seemed to appear out of the blue and as much as fans were excited, it didn’t seem to last long as two of the maps were secretly removed at the beginning of April with no explanation.
The first map was the Al-Raab Airbase which is a large multiplayer map, the next battleground was Drainage, a 2v2 map intended to give players a fresh outdoor setting for Gunfights.

Players were able to access both of these maps from private lobbies before they were swiftly removed from the game.
Now, the maps have been restored in Modern Warfare’s most recent update, although the third map Killhouse remained in the game for the whole duration.
