The reveal trailer has given Battlefield fans some new insights into what they can look to expect from this years much anticipated Battlefield title.
The hype has been rapidly building over the last few months surrounding the release of this years Battlefield title and now we know that the long awaited title will be named Battlefield 2042 and will be set in the near future where civilisation is declining.
The title is also set out to feature robot dogs, players will find themselves amongst collapsed nations while fighting to survive through extreme food shortages.
This turn of events will leave soldiers facing extreme battles, however it was also noted that some of these soldiers will have wingsuits while others have sentry turrets and recon drones.
Dice revealed this information amongst a host of other details in a press show that took place last week, they also made it clear during the show that the upcoming title will not be featuring a battle royale mode.
Players can look to expect a host of ever changing environmental changes and a course of destructive events such as Twisters tearing up players paths on the map while drawing in nearby players and vehicles.
The scale of the maps in the upcoming title are set to be much larger in order to support their huge 128 player battles, these maps will also get a host of updates although it is unclear at the moment if these will be free or purchasable updates.
Fans will be able to get their hands on the title on October 22nd although players who choose to preorder the title should have early access a week before.
