A viral tourist video has been spotted by eagle eyed Warzone fans as it seems to feature an island looking pretty similar to Rebirth Island.
Warzone fans think they have spotted Rebirth Island in a viral tourist video that has appeared on Tik Tok, this would make sense as back when teasers were first released for Rebirth Island it was through hints at its real world counterparts.

The real world inspiration for Rebirth Island is the Arak Sea’s Vozrozhdeniya Island which was the base of a Soviet Union’s Aralsk-7 back in 1954, this is where many biological weapon experiments took place.
Again this ties in with POI’s on Rebirth Island such as ‘Chemical Engineering’ and ‘Bioweapons Lab’, however Black Ops 4 fans have also noticed the resemblance to California’s Alcatraz Island.

In a viral video that was recently uploaded to TikTok, a boatload of tourists sail by Alcatraz Island and fans can’t help but notice the major similarities.
The clip shared by ‘jaydenvibing’ has received over 850,000 views so far and counting and went on to be share across other social platforms such as Twitter and Instagram.

The clip shows the boat sailing past the island and is titled with “they really copied Rebirth Island”.
Of course it may not be exactly the same as the map in every way, but you have to agree that the buildings that eerily similar to them that are featured on the in game map.
Fans were quick to agree as they noted the multi-storey buildings with the prison located in the middle and other areas of the island such as the water tower.

Whether or not this was the exact inspiration for the map is unclear, although you can’t deny the striking similarities.
