Rumours have been circulating for quite some time now surrounding the release of a new Nintendo Switch Model and now according to a new report the wait may be over.
Its been over 4 years now since we saw the release of the Nintendo Switch Console, and since then we have seen the handheld gaming console shoot from strength to strength and it seems that it has no intention of slowing down any time soon.
Over the past year, there has been multiple leaks regarding a new ‘Switch Pro’ model which would ultimately be a more powerful machine.
However with so many rumours swirling around its hard to decipher what is true and what is not, the most credible report on the new console came from Bloomberg who issued a report that mentioned the new Switch console featuring a much larger OLED display with more powerful internal components along with a higher resolution.
Now, another report from Bloomberg has provided us with some new details which even reveals a release window that we could potentially see taken place later this year.
The latest report from Bloomberg states that the upcoming new console could be revealed before Nintendo’s annual E3 presentation scheduled for June, The new model is set to release somewhere between October and December of this year.
Nintendo insider Emily Rogers took to Twitter to say “I’m confident we’re getting a Metroid game this year. Announcement of new Switch hardware seems imminent as well.”
Of course, nothing has been official announced at present so we must take this information with a pinch of salt for the time being, fans are hoping there are in store for some surprises in the near future.
