The sequel to the fan favourite zombie title has been sought after for quite some time, and now it seems that Techland are giving us some insight into the sequels storyline.
Dying Light first released back in 2015 and seemed to take the gaming world by storm with its interesting concepts and riveting gameplay. The games developers, Techland created the title by taking zombies in a video game and merging them into an interactive story that is based around Kyle Crane.

The sequel, Dying Light 2 was first announced at E3 back in 2018 and has fans on the edge of their seats ever since waiting for an official release of the much anticipated title.
Although there is no release date revealed just yet, Techland has eased our curiosities as they have let slip some details of the story line of the upcoming title.

Techland has sent out a multitude of packages to publications ahead of the games release which include a letter filled with details on Dying Light 2’s storyline along with a Dying Light sticker and a ‘Stay Human’ flashlight.
The letter contains a cryptic message which reads:
“Hello, survivor!
Remember Harran?
Of course you do. But all that-that was just the beginning…. Now The City is our refuge, and it needs your help.
Want to know more?
You will, but you’ll have to hunt. I had to hide the info-this place isn’t safe. Track down the clues and remember, it’s all for your eyes only. This message cannot fall into the wrong hands.
You’re our last chance, survivor!“
Could this suggest that the new title will be set in an entirely new location from what we have seen previously, although there has been previous hints revealed in past developer updates which have suggested we should expect it to be set somewhere located in Europe.

The letter insinuates that habitants of the city are in imminent danger, hopefully there will be more details revealed as we get closer to the release date.
