Rumours have suggested that the upcoming Battlefield 6’s skill-based matchmaking system will be extremely different to what players have seen in other titles such as Call of Duty.

Skill-based matchmaking has always been a controversial topic in the gaming community and it seems that Battlefield 6 may be shaking things up with an entirely new system.

The information came from well known leaker Tom Henderson, which gives fans a reason to have faith in the rumour considering Henderson’s accuracy in the past. The overall idea of SBMM is that players are paired with other players of a a similar skill, however some players have concerns that this is a ranked mode and should remain in ranked.
