According to an industry insider Fallout: New Vegas 2 could soon be on the way.
Last year we saw Microsoft acquire ZeniMax media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks which set them back an astounding $7.5 billion. This monumental acquisition saw the likes of DOOM, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and many more become a solid part of the Xbox family.
These turns of events have quickly lead to fans pointing out that Fallout: New Vegas 2 was a huge possibility. The studio, Obsidian Entertainment that was behind the original New Vegas back in 2018 was also acquired by Microsoft, which would make the idea of developing a sequel a piece of cake.
Although Obsidian are currently busy with an array of other projects, fans still hope that we could see a sequel come into fruition.
According to industry insider Tyler McVicker, it seems that this could be the case as the leaker reveals some information on the much anticipated Fallout: New Vegas 2 in a new Youtube video on his channel.
McVicker explains in his video that he is taking a step back from the Valve News Network and went on to drop some hints on some projects he has heard about and let viewers know he would go into further detail about these projects in more videos.

He also briefly touched on rumours of the Nintendo Switch Pro and plans for The Legend Of Zelda’s 35th anniversary along with a scoop on a series of other games and of course… Fallout: New Vegas 2.
McVicker doesn’t go too much into detail about Fallout: New Vegas 2, however he does mention he has information on it. It was unclear to viewers just how far the development of the game has progressed at present or even if it is at all.
Of course we must take this information with a pinch of salt, but given that these are the first whispers we have hear about a sequel in quite some time, hopefully we can expect something to manifest in the near future.
