The latest Battle Royale title, Scavengers has burst onto the scene boasting an impressive 9000 players in its multiplayer mode.
Scavengers has been described as a mix between a survival title and Battle Royale, it is already making waves in the gaming community with its impressive 9000 player mode.

For those who don’t know, Scavengers will put your squad up against other squads on a map that can contain up to 60 players, the aim is to be the last squad remaining. However there is also a number of difficult environments to navigate through while your squad continues to scavenge and do their best to survive.
The games developers stated “Experience a new kind of competitive shooter, where every match offers multiple strategic avenues. Your objectives: capture more data points than rival squads, and stay alive – the rest is up to you. Track enemy players through snow, pit AI wildlife against adversaries, use storms and shelters to your advantage, stealthily navigate outposts, or take on the world guns blazing. It’s Player-vs-Environment-vs-Player, and creativity equals victory”.

The title also has an experimental multiplayer mode that can allow up to 9000 players to battle it out together, the developers Midwinter Entertainment have already held a test sessions in which they saw a total of 1700 live players join, however 7000 more remained in the queue.
After all the test was an experiment, giving us an idea of just what is possible. Overall the game saw 9600 players live in the game all while the game maintained a great resolution and performance.
