The upcoming title, Dying Light 2 will not feature any guns or vehicles leaving players to focus more on melee weapons and free running.
The developer of Dying Light 2, Techland revealed in a question and answer video that the upcoming title will not featuring any vehicles or firearms.
The Q&A session was lead by the games head designer Tymon Smektala on Monday, he went through and answered an abundance of fans questions about the sequel.

Smetkala went on to explain that this would be due to the fact that in the game civilisation as we know it has been completely destroyed, therefore resulting in people no longer having the knowledge to building weapons of a professional grade.

Instead, players will have to fall back and rely on free running which will be vastly improved in the upcoming sequel, Smetkala also went on to say that much of the parkour from the first title is the “DNA of Dying Light”.
Fans were also surprised to learn that Dying Light 2’s map will be double the size of the map featured in the first game, it was also explained in the video that the map will span an area of almost seven square kilometres.

The map will be filled with a host of buildings with a multitude of floors for players to tap in and explore, it was also revealed that the sequel will have a series of skyscrapers and bridges which players will be able to traverse.
However, despite revealing all of this information we are still left in the dark when it comes to a release date for the title, although it is expected to launch sometime this year.
