New rumours suggest that the upcoming Battlefield title may launch without a campaign and without single player.
As the release of the much anticipated Battlefield 6 title grows closer, rumours and speculation continue to grow, with new information claiming that the title will launch without single player or a campaign.
The news comes from well know leaker Tom Henderson, after he has looked into a previous leak that had claimed players would be able to play as Australian, American, British, Japanese, German or French soldiers on the US campaign.
However, Henderson claims that this Tweet does not confirm a campaign and that this would just be a part of the backstory of the game. He goes on to say that a campaign and single player have not yet been confirmed for Battlefield 6.
The Tweet read “Sources – The information given to me was interoperated as campaign information, but is actually the backstory of the game itself. So as of yet, a campaign is not confirmed. I’m happy to admit when I’m wrong, but this makes me even more excited for multiplayer.”

It appears that Battlefields main focus will be its multiplayer mode and Battle Royale, although fans are expecting the Battle Royale, it is yet to be officially confirmed. This also suggests that it could be a free title, of course with nothing revealed yet we must take this information with a pinch of salt.
Fans will have to hang on and wait for an official announcement to confirm whats in store for the upcoming title, but in the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
