Apex Legends has hit a monumental milestone with over 100 million players and it seems they’ve got something special to announce.
Over the past three years since its release Apex Legends has continued to go from strength to strength and it seems that it doesn’t have plans on slowing down anytime soon as the title reaches an impressive 100 million players.
Apex Legends has managed to build itself quite the fanbase over the years along with earning itself the title of one of the most well know battle royale games on the market.

The game is currently in its 8th season, although Respawn Entertainment have already said they have the next four legends planned, taking players all the way through to Season 12.
The constant stream of updates and new content has helped kept players engaged and aided the title in reaching the impressive 100 million player mark.
As if the celebrations of reaching this insane milestone wasn’t enough, it seems that Respawn Entertainment have been hinting towards something else happening. Teasers are pointing towards April 19th, however there is no further information on what this could be.

Could it be that next week will bring us announcements on Season 9 of Apex Legends?
Recent leaks have suggested that Season 9 could feature lots of Titanfall content which could be part of the announcement, however many fans of the game began asking questions when the official Twitter page for Apex Legends posted what seems to be a new map.

The Tweet contained footage in celebration of reaching the 100 million milestone but seemed to feature a quick snippet of a neon city style map towards the end. Could this indeed be a brand new map?
