A bunch of new vehicles should be making their way into the battle royale game in the future according to a new leak.
Given the sheer size of the maps in battle royale games, it’s not uncommon for the developers to add vehicles to help players get around the map. We’ve even seen vehicles added to Fortnite and Apex Legends.
In Warzone, vehicles are not only used for mobility but they can also be used as weapons. The meta in solos games for a while was to jump into a Big Bertha and wait until the final circle to run over the unsuspecting enemies. An annoying strategy for sure, but a one that works.
Even after the merge with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the vehicles in Warzone have remained the same, but that could be about to change if the information in this new leak is to be believed.
Reliable Call of Duty leaker ZestyLeaks has dropped some hints about what changes we can expect to see coming to Verdansk, he even shared information on new weapons we might see added in future too.
According to ZestyLeaks, eight new vehicles are being worked on for Warzone, these include a Police Car, a van, and even a vehicle with a mounted LMG.
The information was found tucked away in Warzones game files where references to the vehicles could be found. Codenames are used for the vehicles in the files including one called ‘Big Bird’ which seems to refer to a helicopter or attack plane. In Call of Duty 4 a callsign can be found with that same name and features a transport helicopter in the image. It’s also the same helicopter found in the middle of the multiplayer map Crash.
Another codename found is called “Medical Transport” we can reasonably assume this will be some kind of Ambulance, ZestyLeaks also confirmed that the ambulance was originally supposed to be in the game at launch but was cut just before relase.
Zesty does’nt give any information about when we can see these new vehicles in the game, but with Season 3 expected to bring big changes to the map, it would be fitting for a new set of vehicles to make their way into the game at the same time too.
Remember, just because things are found in the game files it doesn’t mean they are guaranteed to end up in the game, always take these leaks with a big pinch of salt.
