Data miners have located equippable helmets deep in Warzones game files for a second time after they were previously removed.
When Warzone launched back in 2020 equippable helmets were nowhere to be seen in the game, although data miners had found evidence in the files that suggested they were originally intended to be. All traces of the helmets were later removed from the game files but now it seems they have returned.

Further details of the armor system that was scrapped from the game has been discovered in the games files which consisted off equippable helmets, healing bandages and armor tiers.
The helmets would work in a similar style to helmets in PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds and Apex Legends, and with Warzone already having an armour plate system it wouldn’t be too strange for them to implement the same system for your characters head, right?
Unfortunalty the leaked helmets were cut from the game in favour of an armour plate system. Warzone was designed so that the player has to do as little amount of looting as possible. Ground loot is easy to find so you don’t have to worry about upgrading your level one vest/helmet to a level three during the game like in Apex and PUBG.
The same applies to the health system, the game keeps the automatic health regeneration that you find in regular multiplayer to save time looting for meds.

Although, according to a recent leak it seems that the helmets could be making an appearance in the game after data miner Nanikos and leak reporter VanguardIntel claimed they have found files referencing the helmets deep within Warzones game files.
Nanikos took to Twitter to share the discovery, the Tweet read:
“Seems like armour may be coming to Warzone in the future.
Lvl 1: Reduces Headshot Damage by 15%
Lvl 2: Reduces Headshot Damage by 30%
Lvl 3: Reduces Headshot Damage by 30%.
Reduces flash and concussion effects Credit to @VanguardIntel for the find.”

The post was soon met with an influx of comments from fans who claim the helmets are merely leftovers from the original armour system, which is likely.

Please don’t put armor helmets in warzone, there’s nothing more satisfying than getting that long distance headshot and cracking all there plates and they dropping to the ground.now your trying to make a player act like a juggernaut, there will be alot of complaint’s I’m sure.thanks for listening.
