Rumours have been circulating suggesting that a Neopets Game could be coming to Nintendo Switch.
In a recent interview with the Washing Post, Neopets Brand Manager Stephanie Lord revealed that the iconic game may be headed to Nintendo Switch. Of course, at this point a Switch port is nothing but speculation but we can’t help but hope that a Neopets title could be on the cards.
Lord refused to make further comments on the subject, could it be that the comment was just made in passing rather than an actual game reveal?

For those who don’t know, Neopets is a web-based game in which players could look after their own virtual pets. Players would be able to gain Neopoints and take part in playing different games and different tasks while searching through Neopia.
Players were also able to customise their pets, chat with others players, take part in competitions and much more. It really was the ultimate game for all millennials in the 2000’s.
If this was to go ahead and we were to see a Neopets title for the Switch, there is no way to tell just what kind of game this would be. Would it be that we would see direct port with almost everything from the web version brought directly over to Switch?

When you think about the prospect this way would actually make the most sense and would be a perfect fit for Nintendo Switch.
The added benefit here is that the mini Neopet games could be adapted and switched up to work with the Switch remotes enhancing the game like we’ve never seen before.
Another question fans have been asking since the interview is if we could be seeing a sequel to Neopets for the Switch. Could a spin off game be on the cards rather than a port of the original game?
