The much anticipated nuke event seems to have came to an early start thanks to a hilarious new bug.
A player was able to capture footage of Verdansk being hit by a nuke, however it wasn’t quite the huge nuclear event we had anticipated.
Rumours and speculation surrounding a huge nuclear strike have been circulating for quite some time now, leaks had suggested that the city of Verdansk would be completely wiped out after being targeted by a huge nuclear strike.

However, a recent turn of events has sparked questions after a clip was uploaded to Twitter showing a nuke hitting the city.

Twitter user ‘NotAndreLuiz‘ took to the platform to share a clip from the game where they witnessed a huge missile crashing down into Verdansk. However, instead of wiping out the city as expected it seemed to simply vanish in a cloud of dust leaving behind very little damage.
It is hard to say if this actually is a bug, although it seems incredibly out of place considering there’s no actual destruction left behind when the missile lands.

Previous leaks have stated that the alleged upcoming nuclear strike will completely wipe out the city of Verdansk, in turn paving the way for a brand new map to make an appearance in the game.
A recent leak suggests that a new map could be based around World War 2, although as with every leak we should take these with a pinch of salt. With nothing officially confirmed it is hard to say just what is in store for the future of Warzone.
