New Egyptian horror title Forewarned was announced last Thursday.

This upcoming title looks amazingly terrifying, having just been announced on Thursday, Forewarned is scheduled to launch on Steam in early access for eager fans on both VR and Windows PC.
In the game, players will be able to take on the role of archeologists who are excavating in the tombs of the Mejai in a bid to locate lost artifacts.

Horror fans may notice some similarities in the upcoming title with the popular ghost hunting game Phasmophobia. Both of these titles consist of a team of specialists searching a specific environment while stumbling across some terrifying findings.
However, the main thing that really makes Forewarned stand out is that the majority of the game is co-operative, giving players the chance to double cross their team mates.
We’ve seen previously in Phasmophobia where players have been killed and have returned back to haunt their teammates, players have often been found as ghosts lurking behind corners or throwing items in a bid to scare other players.

This plays out rather interestingly in Forewarned as they take it to the next level, in the game after a player dies they will be offered a single chance to offer assistance as a mummified servant of the Majai.
They are still offered incentive to help other players, the crew are able to actually sell treasure they have found in exchange for purchasing strong tools or upgrading their kits to give them an advantage in their next mission.

However, this being said as players are given this chance to help out their teammates, it also opens up a door for players who are only interested in betraying the other players.
