Players have been finding the strangest of places around the map to take refuge from zombies.
It seem like we write about new glitches in Call of Duty every other day with most of them being detrimental to players performance, but on some rare occasions they can assist players. Fans have now discovered a new glitch which created a ‘safe zone’ offering them safety from the attacks of zombies.
There are a lot of areas in the Black Ops Cold War maps where Zombies will not go, the tops of objects or on hills, over time players have weeded out safe spots in order to avoid an untimely death by groups of the undead.

This spot is no different, a player has found out that this bizarre spot can block the Megaton Blaster and bomber Zombies from attacking them. Reddit user ‘nerdy_the_artist’ took to the platform to share their discovery, it seems that that players can find safety by hiding on the bed located inside Ruka’s elevated cabins.
The footage shows Zombies standing idle as the player hides on the bed, however we can’t say for sure if this method will protect players from regular Zombies.

The post read “So apparently the Megaton blaster and bomber don’t actually attack you while you’re on the bed in one of the elevated cabins in Ruka, so enjoy these cool idle animations I captured!”
In the meantime players can use this method for a moments breather when fighting the undead becomes too intense.
We’re pretty sure it’s only a matter of time before devs patch this glitch out, so if you want to take advantage of this there is no time like the present. Players can find the bed where the Holdout Crystal spawns near the scorched field.

Treyarch are known for patching out issues fairly quickly, however there is no way to tell if this glitch is even on their radar yet. So, until this problem is weeded out, players can find some peace in knowing that they can take a time out when it all gets too much.
