Tom Henderson, formerly known as LongSentation is a trusted leaker in the community, he leaked information back in January letting us know that Raven Software and Treyarch had been testing out the larger lobbies. @InfoCoDEsp_ tweeted “The new Warzone map will be extremely large, so much so that it has 23 locations. There will be more vehicles.” and not longer after followed up with “There is also talk that it will be played with 250 players.”
As we always say, please take these leaks with a pinch of salt, and remember that just because a mode is in testing behind the scenes that doesn’t mean it will ever make it into the live version of the game. We’ll just have to wait and see what’s in store for us closer to the time.
