Warzone developers Raven Software released a patch on March 15 which fixed an exploit allowing hackers to end matches early.
If you’ve played Warzone at any point in the last year you’ve probably come across the games biggest issue at least once. Cheaters have been a major problem for the game since launch and players on all platforms have been effected by the issue.
It was just last month that we saw a ban of over 60,000 accounts, although that doesn’t seem to have put a dent in the amount of cheaters running around online.
After having seen multiple ban waves issued the hacking issues have just seemed to grow worse over the past year.
Frustrated players have already taken to social media to share their anger over cheaters ruining their games, with a number of high ranked players also shying away from playing in tournaments due to the hacking issues being so bad.

Now, it seems that hackers have taken their cheating efforts to the next level as they seem to entirely avoid the use of snappy aimbots or see-through walls.
This can be noted in a clip uploaded to Twitter by NRG member ‘JoeWo’ which shows the moment a streamer entered his Warzone match and brought the game to an abrupt ending.
This took place before he even had the chance to hit the ground, the game leads straight into a Final killcam which brings the game to an untimely end. What has really got viewers talking was the fact that the streamer was then awarded a first place win for this match.

It also seems as though every player that was present in the lobby was also awarded a first place finish too, which leads us to question if the players in the killcam were hackers or if it was the last kill before the match came to an end.
If hackers now have the power to do this, fans can only hope that Activision take action sooner rather than later as a problem of this magnitude is bound to cause a huge stir in the Warzone community.
