Finally after having been announced back in 2019 there has been a release window for the popular survival game revealed.
Fans have been waiting eagerly for the release of the console edition of Rust, the popular survival game was initially announced back in 2019. News about the upcoming console version of the title seemed to die down since then with fans not hearing any further information on when they could expect the pending release.
However, a recent rating on the Entertainment Software Rating Board has suggested that we might be seeing this release sooner than we think, confirmation has now revealed that Rust will release for PS4 and Xbox One sooner rather than later.
It’s likely that the extended silence between the announcement and the release could have something to do with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, over the last year we have seen many titles being delayed and rescheduled due to the current situation.
Now, it seems that fans can get excited now that a release window has been confirmed, the title has seen an immense growth in popularity thanks to the recent surge in streamers playing the game, so it makes sense that we finally see the console version.
We are pretty sure that the title will do very well on consoles, as the PC version was actually Early Access for many years before the game was officially released in 2018. So this window between the announcement and the actual release is fairly small in comparison.
Rust is scheduled to launch on Playstation 4 and Xbox One this Spring, we are still waiting on an official date to be confirmed but players will be able to get their hands on the title before they know it.
