Don’t know all the details but it’s supposed to be Treyarch style, co-op zombies on a large scale Fireteam map.
I’ve heard it described as “open world zombies,” so take that for what you will.
This information has really got fans asking questions, the mention of ‘Outbreak’ being featured on a Fireteam map has brought the question if it would be an already existing map of if we should expect something new to be released.
However, this wouldn’t be the first time that we have seen Zombies added to a large scale map, we saw a similar set up in Blackout where the zombies would randomly appear throughout Black Ops 4 matches.

Black Ops 2 was another title that featured a semi-open zombies map, the map TranZit was a transport based mode in which players would need to fight their way across a giant battlefield in a robot controlled bus.
If these rumours prove to be true it likely that we wouldn’t see this release until after season 2 has had their huge content update, it is thought that Season 2 will be lunched within the last week of February.
